About this verb#
- Perfective of обнимать, in the -нять family along with понять, принять, etc. Irregular: present-future stem обним- with stress moving from ending in 1sg to stem from 2sg; past stress is mobile (обнял / обняла / обняли). Hand stress to the feminine ending in the past.
