About this verb#
- Class 1a with fixed stem stress (нажимаю, нажимаешь, нажимают) on the long -има- imperfective stem. Aspect partner нажать has a much shorter stem (на- + жм- root, future нажму, нажмёшь). Government: на + Acc ('press ON').
