About this verb#
- Irregular: derivative of есть 'eat', sharing its bizarre conjugation (надоем, надоешь, надоест, надоедим, надоедите, надоедят). The construction is inverted from English: 'X надоел Y-у' = 'Y is fed up with X' (X in nominative, Y in dative). The grammatical subject is what's tiresome.
