About this verb#
- Reflexive Class 4a with fixed stem stress (готовлюсь, готовишься, готовятся) and в → вл mutation in the я-form only. Government: к + Dat ('prepare FOR'). Two competing perfectives: подготовиться (formal) and приготовиться (everyday).
