About this verb#
- Class 4c, the same paradigm as ходить, with до- prefix marking 'up to / reach'. Shifting c-stress and д → ж mutation in the я-form (дохожу → доходишь). Government: до + Gen (the destination). Pf дойти inherits идти's suppletive past.
